Most Four of our recipes came from the two books pictured here- found at a used bookstore. The menus are easy to follow and the detailed photos are absolutely delightful.
The selection below is "casual" and based on the personal tastes of several people. I wasn't thinking Cajun at all, but we ended up with a touch of it.
How the creations will actually look or taste, is characteristically
a mystery since the "rule" has been to try something new each year. The creole was voted best, the terrine most unusual and the rest was robust according to Dave.
What happened to the delicious cookies purchased from a friend?
The figures were divided and layered with ice cream and whipped cream.
