A really sweet story. There are places that repair rosaries and everything else- so why not this specialty? For this particular artist, Christmas never ends.
"A Broken Head- a Broken Heart"
~a well-loved doll in need of repairs.
by the most prominent female American illustrator of the Twentieth century, Jessie Willcox Smith (1863- 1935).
I admire her style (and so do thousands of others). It took her a while to find her place in the art community. She started her career teaching kindergarten but her body couldn't handle the stress. During that period she discovered that she had an artistic talent so quit her first career to pursue this interest and many are glad that she did.
