This month is the time when commissions begin to arrive after the summer season break. One icon that has been in the planning came with a unique request for a gesso board with a curvy polya. Below is what has been worked out.  The board has recently been ordered from a professional, Orthodox woodworker. The length is 15 inches and the board will cost ~$200; prepaid by the patron-commissioner. The anticipated date of completion and shipping for this board is about 2 months.
