Completed on a traditional icon board in egg tempera with a real gold halo over polished clay bole. Orders are always welcome for this one or another.   I haven't checked lately but a custom, top notch, clay board substrate, like the one shown, might be in $100 price range for a 9x12 size. These thicker, solid icon boards come in many sizes and are layered with a smooth, white gesso finish on the top and sides. The are made specifically for egg tempera application. The price for completion of any icon depends upon the complexity and what materials are used. Sometimes I receive requests for immediate icon pricing however I cannot accurately determine the price prior to knowing the icon specifics in some detail. A prospective client will be asked to reply to a question and answer list in order to aid the process. A follow up phone conversation typically follows that part.
