Hearth & Burner continuedA view of the dining room wall. It was determined that the smoke stack should run up the back wall. The green lines indicate where the wall would need to be reworked. And you will see why. The pipe could not be located closer to the wall because of fire codes an the location of the cinder block foundation. A frame was constructed around the pipe and to match one the other side. Dry-walled. As shown below. Cavernous yes, but so far so good. Right? Project Interval # Three and the project photos completed just before Christmas.
